MOBILE VIEWPOINT INTRODUCES 2 NEW EXPERT UNITS UTILIZING 4K AND MULTICAM
Mobile Viewpoint, market leader in wireless 3G/4G communications, announces the introduction of the WMT EXPERT 4K and 4CAM. The EXPERT 4K transmits up to 60 frames HEVC encoded video using 8 modems. Next to 4K the unit also supports normal HD and other features like store and forward, data bonding and recording. The EXPERT 4K is available right now.
EXPERT MULTICAM FOR REMOTE PRODUCTION
The WMT EXPERT 4CAM is the first bonded transmitter that encodes 4 streams at the same time and unleashes the long time promised full remote production. With the Expert 4CAM it is possible to do multi camera shoots without the need of an OB van on-site. The EXPERT 4CAM supports both H.265 and H.264 encoding to ensure an end-to-end compliancy using standard based decoders or IRD’s.
To meet everybody’s requirements, the EXPERT 4CAM is available as a 1U 19-inch rack mount or as a backpack solution. Other available accessories are a high gain dome antenna, hot swap battery plates and antenna extenders for car roof top mounting.

SkyLink is first bonded action- and sports camera in the market. The SkyLink has two 4G modems and captures HD 1080p using an 8 megapixel CCD. The SkyLink use case will be drones but also to capture live sport events. The SkyLink can be mounted under any drone using the standard mounting holes and uses the bonded modems to send over live footage directly to any social media platform using the LinkMatrix. SkyLink has built-in batteries that provide 5 hours recording on the internal storage or 2 hours live using the modems.
For live sport video the SkyLink can be mounted onboard any sport device like bicycles, motorcycles and boats but also directly on the athlete. Next to video the SkyLink captures performance data from the athletes like for example heartbeat, blood pressure, bicycle speed and peddling power via ANT+ and built-in sensors.
