Vimeo introduces automatic uploading with Dropbox Partnership
Dropbox y Vimeo se han juntado, para permitir al usuario de Dropbox subir contenido directamente a Vimeo. Ambas empresas han hecho mucho en los últimos meses para mejorar las experiencias de usuario.
Usuarios de Dropbox podrán agregar su cuenta de Vimeo en la página de upload o en la configuración de la cuenta. Sera una opción disponible en “Connect with Facebook” y “Conectar con Twitter”. A partir de ahí, los usuarios podrán subir contenidos de su computadora y / o Dropbox a Vimeo, para que el mundo vea.
Para ello, sólo tienes que colocar el vídeo en la carpeta de auto-carga que aparece al hacer el enlace de, las cuentas y se carga automáticamente en Vimeo. Otra ventaja es que los usuarios no tienen que esperar a que termine la descarga antes de cerrar la ventana de su navegador o navegar a otro sitio.
Como una alternativa a YouTube, Vimeo ha hecho un nombre por sí mismo entre los cineastas y músicos independientes. El sitio sólo permite contenido original creado por los usuarios, por lo que su selección es un poco menos arbitrario, aunque menos expansivo que los vídeos que se encuentran en el sitio, propiedad de Google.

Dropbox and Vimeo have put their heads together to let Dropbox users upload content directly to Vimeo.
Both companies have done a lot in the past few months to improve their user experiences.
Dropbox now lets you share with links, and it was only a few months ago that Vimeo revamped the interface entirely, followed closely by the addition of customizable music options and a cloud-based enhancer tool.
Dropbox users will be able to add their Vimeo account on the upload page or in account settings. It should be an available option under “Connect with Facebook” and “Connect with Twitter.”
From there, users will be able to upload content from their computer and/or Dropbox to Vimeo, for the world to see.
To so do, you simply drop the video into the auto-upload folder that appears when you link accounts, and it will be automatically uploaded to Vimeo.
Another benefit is that users don’t have to wait for the download to complete before closing their browser window or navigating to another site.
As an alternative to YouTube, Vimeo has made a name for itself among independent filmmakers and musicians. The site only allows original content made by users, making its selection slightly less arbitrary, albeit less expansive, than videos found on the Google-owned site.
Vimeo is planning to announce some more features in the coming weeks.
