Puerto Rico vive una emergencia nunca antes vista tras el paso devastador del huracán María que azotó la isla en categoría 4  provocando pérdidas millonarias en viviendas y otra infraestructura, el colapso  de  los servicios básicos y la pérdida de vida. Ya sea en Puerto Rico o Mexico, todos conocemos por lo menos a un fotógrafo o videografo amigo quien esta pasando por momentos malos.

Nos gustaría compartir esta nota que escribe Noel Del Pilar, fotógrafo muy conocido en la industria, quien perdió su casa en Puerto Rico y tiene que mudarse a otro estado.

Whether in Mexico or Puerto Rico, hoping we might all consider helping those photographers and Videographers who are going through difficult moments in their life. We start by sharing this story of a good friend, and well known photographer in the community who is asking for help.

 

I want to thank you all my friends, clients, wedding industry and the photographic community for all support for the last 20 years as a wedding photographer. As you may know, Hurricane Maria has devastated our beautiful island of Puerto Rico in a catastrophic way.

This events has affected my destination wedding photography business that depends on the tourism industry. The full recovery of Puerto Rico will take months or years and my home/business and family is not capable to handle that.

Many of you have asked how to help. We loose all home and studio furniture, beds, appliances and many more however the photographic equipment is safe.

After thinking well about of the future of my business and talking with my family about our future together, we have decided to started a Go Fund Me.

We need to move and start again from scratch in other location, maybe to Florida or New York.
